Test Days DTM at Oschersleben
Here we go for Comtoyou | Aston Martin Racing
« A studious start to the school year for the DTM competitors after a busy winter for all the teams involved. Including the Comtoyou Racing team, which is fielding two Aston Martin Vantages for Belgian drivers Nicolas Baert and Gilles Magnus. »
No cars on track during this first day reserved for the media and mainly for photo shoots for the ADAC, the promoter of the German Championship. It is also an opportunity for many competitors or drivers to actually meet after the flood of participation announcements in recent weeks. The arrival of the Aston Martin Vantage is also one of the expected attractions of the 2025 vintage!
Today, Wednesday, things get serious on track with the first of five days of testing reserved for competitors for the season. Following the final briefings and adjustments yesterday evening with the engineers and the numerous press sessions for Gilles and Nico, who are eager to be on track, it’s also a wake-up call for the team, which is embarking on a marathon season.

Gilles Magnus shows a particular appetite: « I am delighted to be back with the team with which I have already had very good moments in the past. The atmosphere is quite special, combining both performance and a family atmosphere! It is important to feel good and be surrounded in this way to give your best in return. Tomorrow’s tests are eagerly awaited by everyone, and I can’t wait to do my first tests, looking forward to tomorrow to see where we stand ! »
For Nicolas Baert, who fully shares his teammate’s good feelings, the mood is very positive: « We are aware of the great challenge ahead of us, I am highly motivated! The back-to-school atmosphere won’t last long, I still need to confirm my position in the car tonight, and quickly get into the subject starting tomorrow! We have dreamed of this, now we need to perform on track! »
Regarding the schedule, and for the anecdote, this start of the week is explosive. Comtoyou was indeed testing GT at Magny Cours on Monday, and tomorrow, Wednesday, at Oschersleben in DTM but also at Zandvoort with the part of the team already seen on track in Nièvre…
The first DTM event will also take place at Oschersleben, from April 25 to 27, but by then the team will have already completed the first stage of the GT World Challenge, the 6 Hours of Castellet in the Endurance Cup. Next week !
Stay tuned! »
